It will act as a rival to the new Renault Megane R.S. Trophy-R in terms of exclusivity as, when it goes on sale next year, production will be limited to just 2,200 units. Pricing information is yet to be announced. Styling revisions over the standard BMW 2 Series are extensive, with replacement carbon fibre components for the car’s front splitter, rear diffuser, roof, bonnet, boot lid spoiler and mirror caps. The Department for Transport (DfT) table revealed Barrow-in-Furness Borough Council to be the only local authority in the UK that hasn’t installed any EV chargers of its own. First deliveries are expected to arrive this autumn, after the current travel restrictions are lifted.
